Studio Policy

The director reserves the right to alter, combine or cancel classes at any time without prior notice. Classes must have a minimum enrollment of five (5) students for a class to be held.

Relevé Dance Centre cannot guarantee the permanency of its instructors. Unfortunately, there may be times when substitution or staff member changes become necessary. Please be assured that the studio will provide qualified replacements if the need arises.

ATTENDANCE
Our success in teaching our students depends on regular attendance in class. Please notify the studio if your child will be absent for more than one week.

BOYS CLASSES
Tuition will be waived for boys enrolled in a ballet, jazz or tap class.

CASH OR CREDIT CARD ONLY BEGINNING May 4, 2009
NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED for the 2008-2009 dance year after this date. All payments for the 2008-2009 dance year (tuition, tickets, supplies) must be cash or credit card only. After May 4, 2009, checks will be only accepted for summer 2009 registration and for classes beginning in September 2009.

CLASS PLACEMENT
Students are placed in class according to age and ability. Students may be moved from one class to another based on their effort and progress. If the teacher feels the student cannot perform at a particular level, the student will be placed in another class. All teachers at Relevé are trained to evaluate a student’s ability and progress. Our goal is to help the student ENJOY learning.

MAKE-UP CLASSES
As a courtesy to our students, any absence from class may be made up in another class of the same level or a lower level. Attendance in your scheduled class(es) is highly recommended. A perfect attendance award will be presented at the end of the year for qualified students. Make-up classes do not count towards perfect attendance.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Please do not bring valuable items to the studio. Relevé Dance Centre does not assume the responsibility of lost or stolen articles from the studio.

STUDIO CLOSINGS
Please check our website or call the studio for messages regarding the cancellation of classes due to inclement weather. A message will be on the answering machine and posted on our website by 2:30 p.m. Please do not assume that we are closed when school districts are closed. The studio rarely closes. Please note: a make-up day will be scheduled for all classes cancelled due to inclement weather.
