MISS JAIME (lyrical) Jaime began dancing at Releve Dance Centre at age 3 and joined the competition team at age 9. She received training from Releve and from the ADTLI in several styles of dance, including ballet, lyrical, modern, and jazz. While on the competition team, Jaime performed in overall high scoring routines and was a DOTY (Dancer of the Year) nominee several times. Jaime was a student teacher for the petite, intermediate, and junior competition teams, before becoming a substitute teacher in 2006. She began teaching jazz and lyrical at Releve in 2007. She is also one of the choreographers for the holiday parade routines and for the closing number of the annual recital. Jaime is currently a student at Stony Brook University, studying Psychology and Child and Family Studies, while continuing to take dance classes through the university.
