HIP HOP (freestyle/street dance) Ages 7+ (1 hour class) The most popular and fastest growing class at our studio, without a doubt, is Hip Hop. We use age appropriate hip hop and R & B music. Hip hop is both a music genre and a cultural movement developed in New York City starting in the 1970s. Since first emerging, hip hop has grown to encompass an entire lifestyle that consistently incorporates diverse elements of ethnicity, technology, art and urban life.
